Fomtide 200 Inhaler(Formoterol, Budesonide) 

Fomtide 200 Inhaler is made by Sun Pharma which is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It consists two salts namely formoterol which contributes 6 mcg and Budesonide which contributes 200 mcg. Formoterol acts as a long acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscle in the airways and widens it. Budesonide is a proper steroid which stops the release of certain chemical messenger that causes inflammation of airways.

These two salts together in combination makes patient breathe easier. While using Inhaler you should always check the label for directions. You should shake the inhaler before using and breathe in when you press down the inhaler. Once the medication is released inside your mouth hold your breath for 10 sec. Repeat the process if more number of puffs is advised by your doctor.

Once you are done with the process rinse your mouth thoroughly and with water in mouth spit it out. Some common side effects caused by this drug are Nausea, vomiting, respiratory tract infection, Hoarseness of voice, cough, headache and sore throat.
